Magna tattoo’s history starts with
James who began tattooing full-time in Brisbane, Australia in 2013. After returning to the UK, he worked and traveled across the country tattooing at conventions and various studios from London to Belfast. In 2024, he opened Magna Tattoo in Wigston, Leicestershire, with the aim of creating a modern, clean, creative, and high-quality tattoo studio.
Sam’s been at Magna from the start. A tattoo artist specializing in anime and manga-inspired tattoos. He brings your favorite characters, scenes, and styles to life—whether it’s full-color pieces or black and grey designs. From classics like Dragon Ball and Naruto to newer anime like Demon Slayer or Jujutsu Kaisen, he works closely with clients to create custom tattoos that are bold, detailed, and true to the art form
Walk-ins are welcome daily with our artist Jimmie. A natural talent, Jimmie is known for his clean fine lines and detailed, intricate work. He’s also versatile in a range of styles and great at collaborating with clients to bring their ideas to life on the spot, always delivering high-quality tattoos
Also based within the studio is Natalie, handpoke tattoo artist. Handpoke tattooing is a slower, more intentional process than machine work, allowing her to focus on precision, detail, and the overall experience.
